Kaitlyn never ceases to amaze us with the things she brings home from school. Yes, she somehow still astounds us with her academic achievements, and I have a feeling she always will. But what she brought home Thursday was in a league of its own.
It was a simple Christmas letter.
From Kaitlyn. To us.
Here it is:
Dear Jolly Parents,
Thank you for everything that you do for me all year long! I am the luckiest kid in the world!
That says it all to me.
On the front of the letter, she cut out and made and decorated a Christmas ornament, and glued it to the card, along with a wish for “Happy Holidays!” (she could have put X-Mas, and it would not have been offensive!) and the names of Santa’s reindeer. Inside, she had Rudolph glued in full prance, enjoying the snow that is falling and heading for another Christmas tree.
