Autism is one of most puzzling diagnoses to the medical community.  There is nothing that has been identified as a causal factor, and there is no cure.  What has been eliminated as causes is lack of interaction between mother and child and home enviornment factors such as discipline.  Autism is presented on a spectrum, because no two cases are identical.  Asperger’s is on the autism spectrum, and it is now one of my missions in life to learn as much as I can about it.
